Thalin is the owner of the Gorean Tavern.  He was introduced to Gor in the summer of `96.  He has a dominant personality by nature, and a personality type that values growth and discussion.  If you are familiar with the Carl Jung or Myers-Briggs typing, he is an ENTP personality type.  There is no shortage of discussions and philosophy is a passion.  You will often find him fervently defending a topic, however unless you ask if he truly believes this particular stance, you may never know how he feels.
