What is Gor?
Gor is a philosophy based on a fictional series of books which entertain thought processes of expressing yourself in a more natural sense without the tendancies to fail your self expressions due to social norms. If you make it about others, you will lose the most important aspects of what it can do for you.
What is IRC?
IRC stands for Internet Relay Chat. There are networks which allow individuals to download IRC clients and connect to them for free in order to facilitate an online chat service. Below are some links to help you get started:

Why use IRC for Gorean Expression?
This is an excellent question. IRC is text based only. While there are some visual services that allow you to connect and provide a different feel, IRC tends to offer a medium where discussion is more rampant. If you are looking for more of a game there may be better avenues. If you are looking at Gor as a system or philosophy which has meaning to you I would suggest IRC.

Gor, D/s, BDSM oh my! - please help?
There has been more attention paid to these topics in the recent years concerning mainstream media coverage. If you are new to the scene you may be quite overwhelmed. My primary focus is not defining yourself against something else, but by the definition of what you are called to. With that said, forget about the definitions if you can for a moment, and discuss characteristics of different philosophies, once you have a good grasp of who you are, then you can match that up to definitions to find like minded people.

How is this site best used?
We thought you'd never ask! However, it is a valid question. As we grow we hope to put media links and allow people with more of an auditory learning style a comfortable atmosphere.
